New copper woven wire fabric steel weaves are now available for interior and exterior applications. Protected with acrylic clear lacquer or left unfinished to allow the copper to patina. Copper wire steel has the corrosion resistance of copper and the durability of steel. This strength allows us to manufacture large sheets of screen for demanding applications.
Metal Coil drapery’s woven wire fabric is bold, modern, and innovation. The fabric diffuses and enhances lighting without blocking views or ventilation and the durable metal-tone finishes do not fade or darken. Low maintenance, flexible, lightweight panels are easy to install and will adapt to most standard drapery hardware.
Projects include muti-story wire mesh draperies for hotels, auditoriums, and casinos; curved dividers for visual merchandising; window treatments for private homes; safety screening for industrial settings; sculptural forms for urban gardens; decorative interior/exterior wall coverings for buildings and parking garages; aviary round weave screening for animal habitats, and see-through appealing barriers for commercial security.
Measurements
Coil quotations are based upon dimensions given by the client. While drawings and architectural plans may be helpful in interpreting the application, it is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate measurements.
The item “coil length” refers to the length of the wire coil. Under most circumstances, the coil length is also the vertical measurement. In applications such as a banner where the material is “turned on its side” the coil length may be the horizontal measurement. For further clarification contact metal coil.
The most common measuring error involves the height of opening. It is important that this measurement is accurate. Care must be taken to allow for floors or carpeting that may not be installed at the time measurements are taken. Deductions for track and floor allowance will be made by metal coil prior to production. If the mesh is too long, it will need to be returned to metal coil where it can be properly cut to size. There is no method for adding length to mesh. If is too short, the order will need to be rewoven.
Square meter are computed form opening measurements plus fullness rounded up to the nearest square meter.
Fullness added recommendations:standard 50%--100% box pleating 100%
Semi-security 3% Blast Mitigation 100%-150%
Note: fullness is the percentage of extra mesh added to create the desired pleating effect. Track systems require a minimum fullness of 15%
The minimum order is 50 square meter Orders below minimum will be priced at 50 square meter. Or a set-up fee will be added (whichever is less).
Additional cutting and processing surcharges will be assessed for panels under 5 square meters or over 20 square meters in height.
